Motivation: The giant panda is one of the most delightful and captivating of animals, yet one of the most endangered species in the world. The best scientific estimates place the total number of all pandas at only 1,590.  Overwhelmed by their magnificence and fearing for their survival, Panda Fund was formed to raise and provide funding to save giant pandas and their natural habitats from almost certain extinction. 
 
Mission:  The mission of Panda Fund is exclusively dedicated to the conservation of giant panda and their habitats.  Panda Fund supports giant panda natural reserves in their native China through partnership with local Chinese government and the local giant panda breeding centers on habitat preservation, education programs, research programs, breeding programs, medical and veterinary cares.
 
Collaboration:  Panda Fund also works with the various zoos and zoological foundations around the world for the exchange programs to promote their fund raising for the giant pandas and to increase public awareness of the panda as a highly endangered species, in order to prevent the extinction and ensure the continuing survival of the beloved giant panda through our next generations.
 
Nonprofit Status:  Panda Fund is a nonprofit organization. Every dollar raised by Panda Fund will be used directly towards the conservation programs of giant pandas.  No part of the net earnings or donations received shall inure to the benefit or be distributable to anyone from Panda Fund.  All the staffs from Panda Fund are part-time volunteers, who at their own willing, to donate their personal times to help the cause of giant panda conservation, and shall receive no compensations or benefit from Panda Fund.
